During 2005 second semester, we developed this project at Creche Atchim, where the teacher Eliane Antunes has a class of three to six years-old students.

We watched various activities such as free-time, computer class and lunch time. While watching these activities we payed attention to the spoken words and based on the words that compose the teacher's Eliane vocabulary universe we recognized as the project theme: "Tying the shoes i said: -Agony!". This sentence relates to the teacher's routine, since she's interrupted very often by her students asking to get their shoes tyed, what, as she stated, is an agony.

Series of baits here made only by using discarded materials and from them two where selected to continue the project. Amongst them were one juice box with holes in a shoe-shape and a paper sheet with agony faces in it. This two ideas were united in a single one and we created one object, made mainly by wood and a strong cotton made fabric. The main objective is to help children from 3 to 6 years old to learn to tie theirs shoes while being assisted by their teacher. According to to their performance they are "graded" with one face. The product has been used as planed.

This project experience worked out in many forms, but manly as a form of prejudice breaking, allowing us to see and think in a freer manner.
