OUR PROJECT WAS ACCOMPLISHED at a public school Julio de Castilhos in Gávea with the companion of

Daniela Soares. She teaches infant education for kindergarden children. The activities accomplished by our

companion are based on teaching children to realize the world they live through draws and other activities that

emphasizes the written and the recognition of colors and numbers. In one of the accompanied classes, the

teacher Dani gave blank sheets to the students and asked them to draw what they've done on the weekend.

The children’s difficulty appeared when they wrote their names. Dani had difficulties to attend one by one to

solve this problem.

From the ensemble words that compound Daniela's vocabulary universe, we recognize as the project theme:

“Learning to play together is to realize the world”.

We made a game that relates number sequences to the alphabet and colors called "A world of colors, letters

and numbers". We made colorful bases with wood in seven colors: dark blue, indigo, purple, green, red, yellow

and orange; the rainbow colors. The bases formats are circles with the diameter of 10 cm. The letters and

numbers were made of wood as well but thinner thickness. To store this prototype we thought about a package

and created it, made with window protector web because besides the resistance it allows the product

visualization. A cylinder case store plates while two panels united by the case join three by three the other little

pieces in plastic pockets.

This package disposition allows the group dynamics once the children open the case and turn it into a big panel

and accessible for all the kids at the same time.

The group activities were prioritized by our companion many times, even with the objective sentence.

Our companion uses our colors' letters' and numbers' world to teach the children to relate colors to numbers

and letters; identify the names' initial letters and set the sequence with your own
