We worked in the Unity Equovida of Equine-therapy, at the Brazilian Equine Society - Lagoa, and at the 'Haras Pegasus'- Vargem Grande, with the psychologist Amauri Solon Ribeiro. These places attend people with special treatment needs that can use the horse as a tehrapeutic way. Amauri is founder and director of the place, and works directly with the patients following them in their sessions, trying to claim for their attention in front of the horse, in order to make their backbone erected, and always taking care for the non-fall of the patient from the horse, caused by the abscense of a back base. From the whole words that compose Amauri´s vocabular world, we recognized as the objective for our project: "Playing with the horse, the posture and other special needs have great evolution, bringing hope to the children." He and his team always put a dog walking along in the horse`s front (and also patient`s idols photos or animals pics) to claim for the patients attention, trying to put their posture in a correct way. Basing on the realized experiments, we identify Amauri`s intention to have a banner or a flag that could be fixed in front of the patients, that will let them to pay attention to it at the same way that will make their posture erect. As a conclusion project we made a flexible stick tensioned and fixed on the horsecloth, in which Amauri and his team could hang some patients´s attractive 2D objects. It was made with thin PVC sticks joined by Silver Tape and dressed up with Acrilon and some cotton cloth in the same color of the horse´s one. This stick was fixed in the horsecloth by pressure buttons and it had some eyelets in the extremity to the hanging objects. It´s been used by all of the patients who have a correct-posture need. In this job we learnt that sometimes it´s better not to be lazy to do everything again and, more than the final product, the Equovida's patients smiles when they saw all of that ready, is the best reward that we could ever had.
