Float that balances the exercises in water

          Throughout the period we carry through the project in the Aquatop academy. We frequent the lessons of hidroginastic for third age of the professor Sergio. In the first visits we observed the exercises using floats, weights, aquatic polar region, however all facts with an intensity low. We collect 100 words said for Sergio throughout 5 visits. From the set of words that composes the universe of Sergio’s vocabular we recognize as subject for the project: “To float he is not this”  

          We asked for him to make the relation of the phrase with its lessons and it he related with the exercises that use the superior members where have resistance, and that they can meet inside and outside of the water. We made 20 baits (10 in 2d and 10 in 3d) that they had related the phrase. He saw and used them in his way, and in sequence he lined up them of preference, going of the hot ones to the colds. He put the ones that floated and had elasticity in the hot one  directing us. We made more 3 objects combining the favourites things: a pair of floats of bottles, one weight aquatic of sand inside of a plastic bottle all around for lycra and a pair of floats of bottle covered by lycra and an rubber band joining them. When showing extreme satisfaction for the float with rubber band we knew that only in it remained them to search the material adjusted for its construction. We first use straps of EVA with lycra around and the rubber band that binds the two floats was made of braid of lycra since thus it would have a better resistance. We find EVA straps and we glue the one others with shoemaker glue. We divided  them and sandpaper arriving at the rounded off form, what it is pleasant to the human body, and in the braid of lycra we place a garrote of it on the inside to give the desired elasticity. We arrive then at the end item that was very well accepted for Sergio who was very happy with his new product.   

Wagner: I discovered to deal of different forms with people of other ages. Through this project I could assimilate the importance of the contact with the people when it is wanted to arrive at a “final object”.  I learned to search better materials for diverse situations and to choose wich one would be better to my necessity. I learned to work in team and to share the feelings of frustration when something left wrong and the joy in arriving at the intended object. At last, I learned to make a “project”! 

Michelle: I could with this project learn very on as to deal with different people, I knew something unknown for me completely, I had the experience to coexist in a way of work something that I had never  lived deeply. I learned types of different materials for the object confection and coexisting in the lessons the other pairs I learned a little on diverse things.
