We developed a project in the Sain’t Anna Day-care center in Laranjeiras that has an agreement with the City Department of Education and supported by Igreja Cristo Redentor. We worked with the Teacher Lucia Helena who stimulates activities with colors, music, glue, painting, to develop the creativity of these children. From the set of words that compose the vocabular  universe of Lucia Helena we recognized as subject for the project:  

“Creating music in the yard and taking little toys.”

The activities with music, are shared with the joy of the children having favored the socialization and discipline in the circle and in the way to the yard. We constructed rattle with empty plastic bottles, full of colored water and little stones similar to a hourglass. We dye the water with colored crepom paper. Using this idea of “water hourglass”, we used pipe and hose of PVC to connect the bottles necks of the two bottles making possible for the child to play and make music safely. The object was not only used as a rattle with sound of the water and rocks, and also for activities with colors, since the handles made of colored nylon “dublado” are replaceable.
