Our
Project was held in CIEP President Agostinho Neto, Humaitá with Martha
Schoroeder professor of literacy. Observed during our visits to a number of
activities performed by Martha as learning the alphabet by drawing cards and
letter paper, writing letters with chalk in the center of the wheel made it
by the students, time for the homework (in time that students put into
practice the content learned in the wheel and associate drawing with words.
Through the process of observation of these activities was possible to define
our objective-sentence: "At the wheel the group learns." With the
set it clear to us that our product should be used in the core of the class:
the wheel. Thus, we have a series of experiments that enabled us to define
our concept of work: a material, to learn the alphabet that stimulate touch.
Cards made of paper leather on which all the letters of the alphabet are cut
by a laser machine. The material was coated with a jersey pillowcase
preventing vision of the letters by the students. This resulted in the
stimulation of the touch. Furthermore, we made puppets of animals that could
be used in two ways: like gloves to increase the difficulty or to stimulate
creativity. Martha used our final product as follows: she distributed a card
for each student and asked for them to feel and say what letter it was,
finally, it took the pillowcase and showed the letter to the entire class.
The puppets she gave to some students and asked them to create stories about
animals.
Doing this project is face and overcome any problem, because throughout this
process you are faced with simple questions, but by our lack of experience,
became a challenge. And for me, this is what defines the project! You can
overcome all these challenges and finally get to your product. It is one of
the most pleasurable sensations reach the end of the project and say I did
it!. For me there is no definition of project it is the feeling and the
sensation that each one have during process. I learned some things that
obviously I take forward. I think the most important of them was learning
that project is done by a huge group tha receives you, help you and give you
tips. Another important thing was learning that it is essential divide the
tasks and do not overload. I know how important it is to give up of your
ideas and learn to hear those of the others. And most important of all was
knowing overcome a fight with your partner and move on with the work."(Luiza)
I thank Martha for helped us with the realization of this project, making
clear what worked in their classes. That was extremely important to achieve
the concept and goal of our project and made the final product was really
important for the class.
Thank Reny to be a working partner that helped me at all times the project is
showing a person committed and dedicated. This increased my desire to face
the challenges offered by teachers.
"For me project is understand how design is and what design. Initially I
confess that I do not do this project with the white dwarf, as many did that
was very different to work with Ana Branco. Although many of the views of my
colleagues, I decided to do the project with her. After spending almost six
months living with this different way of thinking to understand the objects
in both the person you're designing, I understand how much this project means
to me. It means a thinking before designing, thinking and designing for those
taking the concern of interaction and not the object alone. What many people
fail to realize is the effort and commitment that these teachers do, to see
our development and to teach us things so far beyond what the other teachers
believe that we learn in college. The project goes far beyond the final result,
because, as our teachers always like to stress the important on a project,
most often, is the process that we live to reach the final."(Reny)
I thank Luiza, my partner of project, which was always very helpful in
accomplishing this project, as always was ready to face the tasks proposed by
our professor Ana, which for me is something very difficult to admit because
being a little lazy in execution of tasks.
I thank Professor Martha for all their attention and good will always guide
us to Luiza and I could hold this project that has brought us so much
satisfaction. I think with that I could finally see a new cumin, design in
the world. A path that is still being mapped out and has everything to go
right.
