Flight of birds Team: Gustavo Gomes gustavogomess@gmail.com
Henrique Melo hpmelo@hotmail.com
Social Group: Fátima Gasperazzo Escola Municipal Francisco Alves Travessa Pepe, 77 - Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro, RJ CEP: 22290-020 fgasperazzo@ig.com.br Tel.: 9474-8850 The project was conducted at the
Municipal School Francisco Alves, in Botafogo, in partnership with the teacher Fatima Gasperazzo, who works with a group of special students,
mostly autistic. The role of the intercessor is to teach the special students
to read and write, within its capabilities. Through activities of cutting and
pasting, physical education and music, among other things, it promotes the
interaction of these children and, later, to put them into regular classes.
We followed during a semester all these activities and we could still
provide moments of interaction with the use of the experiments, the
variations and the final product. From the set of words that makes up Fátima’s vocabulary universe, we recognize as the theme
for the project: "The strength of the students makes a difference to the
balance of attention and happy bunch."
The concept defined as a goal for the project was a ghost puppet,
placed as first in the order of the objects classified as warm.
As a final object, seven birds were made based on Brazilian fauna. The
materials used were different fabrics to give lightness to the flight of
birds, the nozzles were made of carpet, the yarns
made of plastic and wooden rings to handle them. The birds are being used to
work on creativity and the integration of children, as in stories where every
student participates inventing a part.
Henrique: I chose the word "strength" to describe my journey
in this period, because at various times she was present, as the strength of
students to surpass their limits, the strength of Fatima to keep track of
students, the strength of the birds, including the teachers and my strength I
never knew existed, yet the difficulties appear and I have to turn me in two
so that everything was solved.
I am grateful to Professor Fatima to have been delighted with the
development and completion of the project, because that way, all the effort
and dedication invested in the participatory process was worthwhile, since
the prototype was generated from a long and intense. This created in me the
feeling that the work is worthy of the sweat and translates its results.
Thanks to Gustavo for all its seriousness and commitment to the
project, it shows me that at times we should leave the funny side and focus
on certain points. With this I learned that there are right times for each
thing, we should not take everything the same old way, but understand what
each time asks for us.
Gustavo: I chose the word "opportunities" for demonstrating how wise is our intercessor, for coping with the different
possibilities of students educate us through their classes. Each person has
their limitations and their strengths, they hone their peculiarities and
embody. It made me see that the work that our intercessor exercise
demonstrates that we can deal with differences whatever they are, because,
after all, we live with endless possibilities.
I am grateful to Professor Fatima for being helpful from the first
moment that we’ve met, in presenting her classroom and her students, and both
have supported us throughout this period. This created in me a desire to
continue working with people who make a difference in the midst of so many
professionals, recognizing the work of others and always willing to share
experiences.
I thank Henrique for having actively participated in all stages of
this process, defending his ideas and questioning my decisions. This created
in me an extreme confidence in his potential for the product to be developed. Intercessor’s evaluation: All work toward meeting the school
should consider the involvement of the collective. We understand, then, that
the success achieved by the double due to the interplay between them and
their involvement with the teachers rulers towards realizing the demands of
work and anxieties. The dialogue with teachers and observation of sensitive
activities in the class contributed to the final materials that were not only
creative, but imbued with pedagogical functionality. Subject: DSG 1002 Class: 1AC Teachers: Ana Branco e Gabriela Gusmão |
