Panel to develop goals that the attention and responsibility eu.daniel.pinheiro@gmail.com Grupo social: Mônica
Maia Barbosa Escola Municipal Sergio Vieira de Melo Rua Adalberto Ferreira 19 Leblon, Rio de Janeiro CEP:224441040 monicamaha@hotmail.com Tel.: 2259-9444 The project was conducted in the Municipal School Sergio Vieira
de Mello, in Leblon, with teacher Monica Maia. She
is a teacher of Physical Education on an
acceleration class, which is a project where students
are out of their age group. The
guidance for this project is to encourage questioning and free thinking. We
watched several classes and realized she uses handball as a background to her
work. The children experienced a variety of situations, such as trying out
different balls and creating their own rules to games. In the end there was
always a conversation in which the students debated the reason of everything
they have done in the class. From the set of words in Monica’s vocabulary,
she chose as theme for the project: “O
‘porque’ objetivo desenvolve responsabilidade”
(in free translation: the objective reasoning develops responsibility) In one class we realized that the children, from 10 to
12, were talking to Monica to see how they could make their activity more
complex. We made 20 experiments that were based on the theme.
The teacher chose some as “hotter” and so we recognized that the path adopted
should be an object to
be used in groups, such as balls of different sizes, weights and shapes; moving targets, in such a
way to work perception and chance. After many variations
of the prototype, we had as result the "Develop your target" panel. It was
made with black denim (1,5 x 1,8m) and nets for
receiving the balls. It is supported by PVC pipes on the side with internal
elastic extenders, and therefore has a wide variety of positions. Colored
targets made out of Parana paper coated with colored denim and cut in various
geometric forms can be attached to the panel with Velcro. Disciplina:
