Panel that recognize the time and spaceTeam:
Our project was accomplished at the public school Sérgio Vieira de Mello, in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro. Our partner was the forth year teacher Marly Mendes Barbosa. She teaches two classes, both have almost 35 students, between the age of 8 and 10 years. Marly teaches history, mathematics, portuguese and science. She follows a book, the government gaves, witch have all kinds of exercises. According to the words in her vocabulary, we recognized a theme for our project: “Learning to help recognizing time and space, knowing your place in the world.” Marlt is always remembering her students that they have to recognize their actions at school and at home. She also thinks helping each other is very important. We built a panel with lona fabric. The panel has pieces of plastic where she can write all the day activities, the date and notes. It also has four pockets where she can keep whatever she wants. Besides that, we did in fabric the sightseeing places from Rio de Janeiro, the seasons and representations of the weather. It supports two binders which contain folders for each students where they can keep drawings and works. Marly divides the class in six groups, we did with mdf sevens crests, so she could name and identify each one. Francesca: In this project the most important part was the exchange of informations and knowledge with everyone involved. Thanks to Marly for always being there when we need, and for all the passion she put into the project, I’ve learned that is very important to have persons that care by your side. Thanks to Fernanda for helping me in every decision, I’ve learned that we have to listen to people. Fernanda: The project teaches us how to deal with time, value trials and to dedicate yourself. Work with Marly and the students made the project flows really easy. Thanks to Marly for welcoming us, and being so careful. She gave her opinion in everything, I’ve learned that without her it wouldn’t be possible to conclude this project. Thanks to Francesca for keeping the rhythm, and for the tune we have. I’ve learned that working like this we can make our goals. INTERCESSOR’S AVALIATION: Disciplina: DSG 1002 |
