School Almeida Garrett
Avenida General Guedes da Fontoura, 470 - Barra da Tijuca, RJ

Summary:

Our project was carried out in school Almeida Garrett , in Barra da Tijuca , with the Thais intercessor, who was teaching to a class of fifth year. The teacher taught Portuguese , math, history , science and geography for students aged between 11 and 13 . During the lessons observed the Thais explaining the matter in the framework , through exercises , answering questions , using evidence and charging homework . From the set of words that make up the vocabulary universe of teacher Thais recognize as the theme for the project the phrase : ' ' Make the class work transmitting will. " Through the experiments listed below with the phrase and the conversations we had in class with teachers , we recognize the Adopted Party : something visual , which generate communication between the teacher and the student , and that would generate greater interest of students in relation to that they are learning . We built a wooden wheel , which has an arrow and 4 slices. The first slice is a thermometer with green signs , red and yellow , the second are written the days of the week , the third are the materials and the last slice is made so that the teacher can write , and erase notes from class. This roulette is being used as phonebook, calendar, and a way to measure the behavior of the students in the room ( with thermometer ) . With a place reserved exclusively to record the activities that students must do, they can better understand the teacher commands.

The fact that we are doing our project in a public education institution put me in a place that was unknown to me , and was very interested to know and be able to live with these people. This project served to teach me the need for organization and learning in relation to work in pairs. Even doing it with a friend of mine , I had moments when I had to hear a little more than talk . That to me was a great learning experience . I thank Nina for being a real partner , calm down , always call me to remember details , help me organize text , by all even . This led me learning to do work with friends is very good. I thank Thais to have guided us throughout the period , it is not easy , she knew perfectly deal with all situations. Always on which we appeared with new experiments , she stopped her class to observe and comment using experiments. This led me learning to make an effort and work the good will at all times is essential.

The process tried to carry out this work contributed greatly to my classes . All steps were significant for my work . The involvement, concern and dedication that Juliana and Ana Carolina have shown wirth the class were important features in this work and fundamental for us to reach the end successfully . I believe it is very important this type of partnership. The students developed things that are useful to our daily lives and never think or do not know how to perform . Despite having contact with various materials . The experience was very rich , leaving several possibilities of work and reflections that emerged from my side and always shared with students. Once again the project exactly met my needs and the class.
