Project developed with the swimming teacher Maria Cristina Huebbe, at Marina Barra Clube and with children since four to six years that go to the classes during the week. As soon as the children arrive, she is already in the swimming pool to welcome them. The beginners use special equipment that do not allow them to dive and the others are already moving their body inside the water. With the help of some objects, she proposes exercises just like kid's games. Using the group of words collected that compose the usual vocabulary that Cristina speaks, we recognized as an objective of the project: "Touching the belly at the bottom of the pool and shaking the legs". Throwing the heavy objects at the bottom of the pool, the children swim to catch them. So, we recognized that he interest with these children is to make them dive and learn how to shake the little legs. We built using EVA white and red, and a sheet of dark eraser, a board that goes to the bottom of the pool like the shape of a shark. Cristina removes the dark part of the shark - piece of eraser- that matches with the stand up part - and throw it to the pool. When the children swim with the board to find the shark and dive to catch it, they complete the objective proposed. Taking Project made us learn to have responsibility, to obey deadlines, to know how to receive critics and to be always ready to see your ideas been changed.
