Núcleo de Artes de Copacabana
R Tonelero, 21 - Copacaba- na, Rio de Janeiro, 22030- 001.

Our project accompanied the group of dance and visual effects of “Núcleo de Artes de Copacabana”. In this class, the students interpreted dances and exercises with the help of music and digital effects, those effects being projections, sounds and light effects. They project on stage and interact with the shadows achieving spectacular effects from the visual point of view. From the expressions said in class we gathered words and composed the theme of our ongoing project: “The practice in Labs\Games moves ideas, images, languages and art, affecting the boy's memory, the boy's body and the boy's animation, giving new meaning to time and space.”. An example of activity that would exemplify the theme would be when they used a big white curtain that covered the front of the stage. It was used to project the images from the computer on it as a new screen and the kids would go behind it. Their shadows would make different forms on the blanket and create different effects. After the experiments and activities we took to the class were made we adopted the use of lines as our main experiment and the different forms it could create. We created a wooden wheel that would turn discs on top of it. These discs were made so the kids could write down in it and spin it. It was made with “MDF” and we also used glue and nails to assemble it. Their drawings are filmed and projected on stage for different activities.

Bernardo Brasil Cabral Conclusion:

I believe I have developed a very good job on this second project, because we build a prototype that fits perfectly with the activity performed on the class that we followed and also merged seamlessly with the phrase goal. The project served to I consolidate a concept about the work developed on public schools, because previously I thought that the students were going to school unwilling, uninterested, teachers alike, and in fact I found something totally different. Students were developing that work because they wanted to, since their presence was optional, and the teachers always engaged in performing a job that makes a difference in the lives of those students.

I thank my intercessor for giving all the necessary support that we need to develop a rewarding job in the nucleus. Our intercessory was always sought to make clear how her work developed and we often approached to ask for opinions on how we do this activity, criticizing our experiments with sincerity which resulted in me a great learning about the role of an educator and an artist.

I thank Lucas to show me the meaning of the word "pair" and "friend", always willing to help and develop the experiments with creative ideas, intelligent and valid, as well as giving me a support in difficult times where I felt unmotivated.

Lucas Wadi Castanheira Gebara Conclusion:

With project 2, I could learn with work and experience. Observing this activity I searched in the work of others something to enrich my learning. Experimenting ideas was the most important point in the conception of our final product and, as matter of fact, the whole project. Working with different angles, we could comprehend what could make the difference for the group and create something from this understanding. I learned to observe and to be sensitive in understanding the work of others.

I thank our intercessor for giving us the incentive to go on during the process. It was always pointed out in what we brought them what could be improved. This created in me the feeling of humility to know that nothing I do is good enough that cannot become better.

I thank Bernardo for being by my side and growing with me during this semester. I wasn't alone and this feeling of partnership made me change the way I looked to friendship. This made me comprehend and respect those around me for I went through moments either good and bad moments with him.
