Summary:
We chose to do our project with the teacher of Physical Education, Rafael Pereira Homsi, at the municipal School Henrique Dodsworth in Ipanema. There we began to observe their classes during these classes; we did drawings and notes important facts and phrases spoken by him during class with intent to form a set of words that he uses in his vocabulary during their classes. Our intercessor Rafael Homsi had the job of help us to understand what context he was working and what was his goal during their classes. We realized that he was very fond of mixing mind games with physical activities as a way to develop both the physical and metal in his students. In one of his classes we observed, he frist mixed chess with dodgeball, the game had the same basic rules of dodgeball, but every person on the team was a chess piece, but could not speak which one until the ball hit them, each piece with its differential, the goal was to hit the King's opponent. He also mixed race with tic-tac-toe, in which cones of red and green had to be taken by one student up to a tic-tac-toe board made with 9 hula hoops on the floor, after choosing a hula hoop for your cone the student should hit the nest student in queue hand to him to do the same until the team have a row with 3 cones of the same color. From the selected of words that make up teacher Rafael Homsi vocabulary, we recognize as the theme for the project: "The true champion tries to score" In one of his classes we visited before the choice of the phrase, we asked during the activity of the "dodgeball chess" why he chose chess as a matter of that period in physical education class, and he said that some people were not very interested in physical sports, then he implement chess was a way to make everyone participate in some way in the class, so we saw that the sentence represented well his teaching, because his goal was not that all were good at what he teaches, but that everyone tried learn. So we decided to do something that would support various sports for him to help us figure out how we would change them, for this we made a size adjustable cane with plastic bottle caps at its tip, these threads through coolant caps made several fittings to serve for various sports, such as a basketball hoop, a target, a golf bat, a baseball bat, fishing pole and bases with the same system only it were coupled arches, flags and targets attached to a rod. After seeing what were the activities most commonly performed with our prototype, we focused on making a specialized object in each activity, and so were: golf bat, baseball bat, basketball hoop and bases with flags. We based the idea of our prototypes would encourage and create opportunities for children to try to hit more during the activities, thus maintaining relation with the phrase. Then we made it stay flexible, making the activity harder and forcing students to try more times. After many tests with different materials and different combinations between them, we decided to use conduit structured with wire, newspaper and hose, it gave him a single property to what we wanted, for now he was soft enough to compromise the accuracy of students and hard enough so that did not bear the functionality of prototypes and thanks to the wire now he choose the format of bats, can be in L, rounded or straight. We did 6 bats with these mateiras and with that bats we made in two with one circle at the end of each conduit with wire and paper, which can change the format thanks to the wire with newspaper, did 2 with a golf club head each, made with wood plywood and 2 that were covered sticks with too much foam in a part of the club with a baseball bats format, all 6 were coated with foam and fabric to be safer for students. In bases made sandbags coated with a pipe connector at the top of each so that they could fit the flags, the flag has the mast made of conduit and a carpet flag them so numbers made of a carpet different color can be glued, to help in activities where they have to count points. The intercessor created games for many of them, as in baskets, which made a similar activity with basketball, but one of the students was the basket and this one had to, on the spot, help your team to get the ball through the hoop, with the bases and flags he mades games like flag pike and adapted his activity that mixed race with the tic-tac-toe in which the flags represented the team and the bases the tic-tac-toe spots,he mixed the baseball bat with golf club in an activity that frist a student hit the ball with the baseball bat and where the ball landed he had to continue with golf club, till it reached the target.
Tiago Lima
When I went to college at the beginning of this year,I was not sure what was the function of the designer in society, I just knew that there I could create something new that can help in people's lives, but did not know yet what the best way to do this. On my first day I was very confused and still had no idea what was the point of thanks, thank someone for me has always been for direct action, "Thank you for lending the pen", but that began to change when Socorro corrected my first gratitude and told me to add that what was generated in me, so I came to understand that thanks were not for good deeds they performed for me, but for what they changed me as a person, whether they are good or bad actions, today I thank the teachers Ana Branco and Vicente for giving me this project, for surely I know that the path that will take in college will be quite different than I would. I guarantee that I no longer think in the same way that I thought when I entered the project, but only now writing this conclusion I could see how much I learned in this project. Vincent once said in a conversation that students were always doing their jobs very worrying with what teachers and colleagues will think instead of just doing, I realized that I also did that, it made me think that the project was about that; during our college life we have to make products for people, and the project made me think, "Why do something for the other, if I can do something with the other." From there I began to see the importance of the collaborative project, I did not make a project for Rafael, I did with him, the person who knows more about himself is he. The same thing I learned in the tent, I was not doing the project for teachers looking for a good score, was doing with the teachers, all the time they gave tips and knowledge without which I would never get where I am. With this I learned that as I will make products for people, I have to first know the reality in which they live and this is possible only into the dynamics of day-to-day one. The phrase goal worked out nicely with what I was learning in the project "The true champion tries to score" I see how important was this our theme, because I learned that no matter how much we think will not work or that already is fine the way it is, we always have to try to change, to make sure we find the best possible solution, we can not even get in the first attempts but just the fact that we try harder make us evolve, this can be evolving a product or ourselves. I learned in the project that the creation process is important, is not something physical that we deliver, but what we learned in its creation and as our knowledge through the evolution of that object since he was only an idea until he is a context for that activity changes completely what it is and what it can be. Finally I understood what did Ana meant when she said that people in the design were all aimed capital, before I saw the capital as an incentive for people would create more and better, but now I see that the capital works great as a bait, many can see it as something that is the motivation for an attitude to be taken and to get something done, but what do I understand now is that the person who took this attitude did not take it for herself, she was indirectly manipulated by the industry to create it, so he gave up the gift of creating and went only to making, and what could be a great learning becomes just a job. Now I know that no matter how much I earn, I will never stop trying to change and vary all I'm working because I know that even if I have to do Thousand attempts, will be worth it when I'm sure that's the best I could do, and if I have not, I will try again. The first time explained the project to Rafael, he said he would be grateful for after the project end up leaving our experiments in high school because he did not know if he could continue teaching there, and this would be his legacy, but now I see that the his passing by the college is equal to our past for the project, at the end of the year I could see how much the children learned with him and changed their way of thinking about activities in physical education classes. This made me see that the most important thing in the project was not the experiment itself, but knowledge we got, and how we use this in our lives from now on. As in our project his legacy was not something physical left in school, it was the exchange of knowledge that happened during that experience, all he learned from the students and everything he taught. The project's legacy to me was to change my way of seeing and understanding life and the legacy of Rafael was to show both their students and for me, that to score, we just have to try.

-When I chose to do this project, I thought it would be like the last. I heard a lot of criticism and crazy stories that just gave me more desire to see what it was like. When I arrived I realized that we would work with children I almost gave up, but I kept firm in the previous project learning when the teacher André told us that the premise was to get out of the comfort zone. I stood and charmed by the idea of "the creative process comes from I learned that people are so different from each other, each has the own time, and so it is nice to design with them, to understand the different view and try to see through it. And I will now thanking without realizing everything that appears in life. And especially thank the diary, I will always carry with me as "survival manual" (Vincente) and it helped me in one of my greatest difficulties in life that is to keep an organization.

I, Rafael Loureiro Homsi, professor of Physical Education of the City School Henrique Dodsworth, evaluate the project Tiago Lima and Priscilla Messias in the most satisfactory way possible. During the 2nd half of 2014, both students of PUC were very committed to the project to be realized, by exemplifying creativity and extremely competent in their jobs. Futhermore, they were always friendly and polite, both with the faculty and with the students of the school, taking a fluid experience, harmonious and fulfilling. Congratulations, Tiago and Priscila!
